Dr. Biswajyoti Hazarika is an accomplished Surgical Oncologist with over 29 years of experience in Head & Neck Surgery.
He has performed more than 1200 thyroidectomy surgeries.
His expertise includes surgery for tumours and cancer in the mouth, nose, sinuses, voice box (larynx), throat, salivary glands, thyroid, and parathyroid glands.
He is proficient in plastic reconstruction, endoscopic, minimal access, and robotic head & neck surgery.
He completed his MBBS degree from Guwahati Medical College & Hospital in 1995, followed by an MS in ENT from Assam Medical College & Hospital, Dibrugarh, in 2001.
He then completed a Fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery at the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore.
Dr. Hazarika has been recognised with the Blue Star Best Post-Graduate Award.
He has published numerous articles in national and international medical journals and authored chapters in the Atlas of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery.
He is a life member of the Foundation of Head & Neck Oncology, India and a Patron of the Assam Rock and Sports Climbing Association, Guwahati.
