About Dr. Mitu Shrikhande

Dr. Mitu Shrikhande is one of the famous Hemotologists in India.
She completed her post-graduation in Medicine from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College in 2000.
She received training in Clinical Hematology at AIIIMS, New Delhi and subsequently, she joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Haematology at Seth GS Medical College KEM Hospital in Mumbai.
She received her training in Stem cell Transplant at the Army Hospital (RR ), New Delhi.
She was also involved in research projects under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology on the role of autologous stem cells in patients with critical limb ischemia.
Her clinical interest lies in Haematology, the diagnosis and management of both benign and malignant hematological disorders including leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, complicated anemias, sickle cell disorders, hemoglobinopathies, ITP, Hemophilias, PNH, Aplastic anemia, MDS, Thrombophilias, bleeding and coagulation disorders in adult patients.
She has several publications both in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
