About Dr. Gourdas Choudhuri

Dr. Gourdas Choudhary ranks amongst one of the best surgical gastroenterologists in India.
He has more than 44 years of experience and specialises in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of liver and GI diseases, such as inflammatory bowel diseases, ulcerative colitis, and gastric ulcers.
He did his MBBS from JIPMER, Pondicherry, Madras University in 1980, followed by a DNB (General Medicine) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in 1982, and FAMS (Gastroenterology) from the Academy of Medical Sciences of India in 2005.
Dr. Gourdas also completed an FICP from the Indian College of Physicians in 1998, a Fellowship from the American College of Gastroenterology in 1998, and an FRC from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2010.
He is the President of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology and a respected member of the World Gastroenterology Organization (WGO) and Asia Pacific Association of Gastroenterology (APAGE).
