Dr Rohit Lamba is an experienced, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon with core interest in joint preservation procedures and salvage of failed or infected joint replacements. He has been trained at the reputed Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana which is the premier referral centre for North India. After his Masters in Orthopaedics, he did his senior residency from Delhi Government hospitals with the largest amounts of trauma case loads, thus further polishing his skills at the same.
He has been trained at the world renowned Helios Endoklinik, which is the highest volume joint replacement centre in the world performing more than 8000 surgeries every year. He has been trained in the special technique of single stage revision of infected joint replacements. He has also undertaken a fellowship at the famous Laud clinic in Mumbai, where the joint replacements were pioneered in India. He continues to expand his skills and knowledge in order to offer his patients the very best with all humility.
The pursuit of further cutting edge skills in the field of arthroplasty and arthroscopy have taken him around the world. He has also collaborated in writing a book chapter in the book ‘Hip Preservation Surgery’ published by ESSKA.
He developed an interest in knee and shoulder arthroscopic procedures and sports injuries as well as complex joint replacements of hips and knees. He as handled more than 100 joint replacement procedures of varying complexities every month, thus giving him immense experience in the field. For the past 5 years he has learned the nuances of Computer navigated hip and knee joint replacements with Stryker NAV-3 computer navigation system. He has harnessed a rich experience of more than 6000 joint replacements and more than 3000 arthroscopic procedures into developing an advanced practice of high end orthopaedic surgeries.
